March 29 - "Be Still"
Although we are unable to gather in person for worship, be encouraged. Our church has not closed; we are alive and active, praying diligently and actively working to find new ways to be the church together during this time. We were never the building... we have been, and always will be, the people of God.
We are adapting and will be online for connections including "Sabbath Centering" on Sundays at 9 AM and "Touch Point" on Wednesdays at 7 AM and 7 PM. However, we know these will be very different experiences than our normal worship services. If you would like to watch previous services at Coon Rapids UMC, click here:
We've been hearing some creative ideas for home worship. If you have ideas, or if you've tried something, would you share with us? Email Pastor Dianna or share here!
We've also been hearing about some amazing "holy moments" or encounters with God. When we have encounters with the God, it almost always results in worship. It would be so encouraging to hear these things from one another! Email Pastor Dianna or share here!

About Holy Communion:
All are Welcome
In the United Methodist Church, we believe that holy communion is open to all who wish to receive, regardless of church membership or age. We also believe that the bread and grape juice are reminders of Jesus' love, symbols for Jesus' body and blood.
We celebrate holy communion together usually on the first Sunday of the month. We invite people to come forward to various stations, to take a piece of bread (gluten free is always available) and a cup of juice, but it's never required and there is no judgement towards anyone who stays in their seat. Our communion servers will serve anyone who feels physically unsteady and is unable to come forward if they let an usher know by raising their hand. It is a holy and celebratory experience, and we welcome all people.
